There are many ways to continue Fr. Stan’s work.

Here are some ideas and projects already underway. Contact me if you’d like to place another item on this list.

  • We developed a smaller version of Fr. Stanley’s colorful Tz’utujil scarf, traditionally woven by the same communities involved in Fr. Stan’s Weavers Co-Op in the 1970s. We think this might be a great symbol of the “Fr. Rother Pilgrim”; the purchase of these supports the traditional weavers and carries out the continued life of Fr. Stan’s work for that community.

  • We sent several copies of the Spanish version of Maria Scaperlanda’s book “The Shepherd Who Did Not Run” to the Pastor of Fr. Stan’s church in Guatemala, so they could read the whole story.

  • We printed posters with photos and information on Fr. Stan for church bulletin boards, carrying a QR code leading to this website.

  • We printed business cards with Fr. Stan’s photo and information - carrying a QR code leading to this website.

  • We printed up prayer cards in Spanish and English to distribute to those wishing to offer Prayers of Intercession or for Canonization.

  • We organized a pilgrimage to several of the Rother life sites.
